Emergency valves
Emergency vents are designed according ISO 28300 and API 2000 for installation on low pressure storage tanks to ensure adequate emergency venting due to fire exposure .
Our technical department is available to carry out valve sizing according to international standards like "API 2000" and "ISO 28300 "
Our Emergency vents are designed even according what is stated in following European Standards that are related to "Atex" directive :
o EN1127-1 : Explosive atmospheres - Explosion prevention and methodology
o ISO 80079-36 and 80079-37 : Non-electrical equipments for explosive atmospheres
Three different executions are available :
Aluminium casted type 104 STD : available in size 20” and 24” is bound for plants where are not present high corrosive process fluid . In this execution body is casted aluminium while cover , hinges , lever and screws are in stainless steel 304 . This execution is coated by epoxidic paint.
Welded type 104 EEV : available in sizes from 16” up to 36” has the flange body in carbon steel with seat ring in S.S.304. Cover , hinges , lever and screws are in stainless steel 304 as well . This execution is coated by Polyurethanic paint.
Welded type 104 WWW : available in sizes from 6” up to 36” , has body flange , seat ring and cover in stainless steel 316L , other parts are stainless steel 304 . This execution is supplied with natural finish and welding sandblasted SA 2 ½.
Other materials on request .
Flanged connections : API 650 ; ANSI 150 ; PN10 . Other kind of connections on request .
Setting : from 3,5 up to 200 mbarg .
